My name is Nathan Kempter.
I am a furniture maker, metalworker and knife-maker. I am 26 years old.
My skills are constantly changing and evolving due to the fact that I am never satisfied with anything I make. There is room for improvement in every piece, design and creation I lay my hands on. The way my father raised me, always look for ways to make what you make better, then step that up.
Born and raised in Slapout, Alabama, I was homeschooled and raised by the two greatest parents a guy could ask for, Chaz & Teresa Kempter. One of the main reasons I have so much "talent" is because when I ( being their first child ) was on the way, they decided that a TV would have no place in their home. The garbage of everyday TV was not going to have an effect on their children and it was a waste of time. Well, when one has 4 hours a day on average of extra time on their hands what are they to do? Get busy!
I thank God every day for the ability He has blessed me with and the people He chose to be my parents. They have guided me along the path of life so far in a most excellent fashion. I thank Him for His Son, Jesus, who paid the price so that I, a sinner, could attain forgiveness from sin and eternal life. For this I am eternally thankful.
